FEB 19 - We're happy to announce that at 7pm on Saturday, March 4, we'll be having an interview with Iowa City's student-run radio station, KRUI. If you're in the Iowa City area, be sure to tune in to 89.7, otherwise listen online at www.uiowa.edu/~krui. THEN, that evening at 9pm, we will be playing at the Hall Mall in downtown Iowa City with the Teddy Boys. All ages show, $5.
Early Feb. news - CD RELEASE SHOW! Yes, you read correctly. After months of anticipation for some, after years of waiting for others; after countless tentative release dates; after mixing, re-mixing, and mixing again (and then again, in some cases); after months of only 1 publicly available Wheelers recording, the time has come. On February 18th, 2006, the Wheelers' first-ever full-lenth album will be released to all. Come celebrate by hearing us play with two of our favorites, The Teddy Boys and the Slats, at The Reverb in downtown Cedar Falls. This will be an all ages show, so anyone who's able to drive there and pay the $5 cover will be able to witness the roc, starting at 9PM. Who plays first? The Wheelers? Only time will tell, so be there from the beginning. Stay for everyone. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Sept 22 - Hello from Wheelers land! Our album has been recorded. Recording is done. Now we're mixing everything, then it gets mastered, then it gets pressed, then it walks into your hands, CD players, ear holes, and brain waves. We also have an exciting/fun show lined up. Check the shows page.

August 9 - The CD is progressing nicely and seems to be turning out pretty well so far. Our guestbook may or may not be down permanently, so until we find another one to use, feel free to email us any of your comments. Also, there's two new shows listed on the shows page.
July 30 - We've finally started recording our as-yet-untitled debut album. We've had a few days of studio time so far, and we're probably around 50% done with laying down the parts. Expect a 10 or 11 track CD to be available this fall!
